Coaching Education
DYSA strives to offer our players what is best for them in terms of development and experiencing the game of soccer. DYSA provides coaching education courses through US Soccer’s Grassroots’ Licensing. Our goal is to provide all clubs with qualified trainers for players. By providing coaching education courses, we assure parents to have confidence in the coach that is training their player.
US Soccer’s Grassroots courses are appropriate for the parent coach to a coach that has played the game. Clubs are encouraged to have their coaches complete the courses which helps provide the player, parents and coach the best possible experience.
All coaches are encouraged to take the Introduction to Grassroots Coaching. This free introductory module, which represents the first step in the revised coaching pathway, is the starting point of the pathway and is a required prerequisite to completing any of US Soccer’s Grassroots Licensing Courses. The module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
